Hi,

I was working in Australia from 2011 on a 457 visa and left Australia 4 year ago. I would like to claim my superannuation now. Do I need Certification of Immigration Status from Home Affairs"? and how should get this?

thanks

Hi Suresh,

If you have left Australia and your visa is cancelled, you can claim your super via departing Australia super payment (DASP) online. If your online application is successful, you wont need to provide any other documentation. The form you mentioned may be required if you apply using a paper application.

You can use the online form first and see how you go.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
