Hi

I am seeking some assistance/guidance with a TPAR enquiry.

I am assisting a client who provides IT services complete their TPAR.

They have made various types of payments to and or for the following:-

  • Payments to recruitment agency for a software developer on a contract basis (the company subsequently employed the developer)
  • Partnership and distribution marketing consultant
  • Overseas support contractor
  • Cloud-based server hosting services
  • API services - software intermediary which allows two applications to talk to each other

I am trying to determine if we need to report any or all of these payments on the TPAR.

I have done some research but cannot find definitive answers, and I seem to be going around in circles.

Any assistance or guidance as to where to look would be gratefully appreciated.

Hiya @Dani1,

The easiest way to figure out what needs to be reported on a TPAR, is to look at the payments businesses don't need to report (link provided below) and see if your payments fit any of those categories.

From first glance, based on what you have said, it looks like all of those would need to be reported on your TPAR but you obviously know the full situation far better than I do.
