We have provided a customer a quote for work and they have questioned the quote having GST saying that it's not applicable as they aren't registered for GST. Do we still charge GST for this client?

Hi @Jen1977

If the services you provide require GST to be charged, as they are not GST-exempt, then yes, you do charge the GST. You are required to be law. Your customer has to pay it. Just the same as they pay GST when they buy any other product or service which is not exempt, like a vehicle, tools, equipment...
