Hi All,

I have just been going through some of my old tax returns and I have noticed that I had a tax return (2013/2014) ammended. The ammended taxable income was increased; due to this I had to pay back a few thousound dollars in PAYG tax debt.

I have been refunded in full from centerlink regarding my robodebt; how do I re-ammend this tax return.

Thanks

Mark

Hi @Mark123456

If you have now paid back the income, you can complete an amendment to the return. You'll need to do so by paper.

Because the lodgment will be out of the time limit, you will need to lodge an objection to the time limit as well as your amendment to the return.

You can read about correcting (amending) your tax return and how to lodge an objection on our website.
