According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Income_Tax_Assessment_Act_1936 the Income tax Act 1936 is gradually being replaced by the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
That's only taken 24 years and counting.
Does anyone feel like speeding this up, maybe finishing it off ?
It would be worth a fortune and might just help the country. Anything that simplified tax would be good.
