I bought crowdfunding shares using my SMSF. They are not ASX listed but shares are registered on Boardroom (Investor serve). Can i ""off market share transfer"" from SMSF to me as a pension payment?

I want to close my smsf and rollover into an industry funds, I can sell my asx shares and convert into cash

- how cam i rollover or get rid of these non asx crowdfunded shares?

Establish the current fair value, then buy them from the fund for that amount.

If you have passed a condition of release, the shares could be transferred to you as an in-specie lump sum benefit.

You should consult your accountant/advisor before doing this, so that:

1. You can be sure that you are allowed to do it

2. Proper documentation is prepared.
