For a sleep technician on the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 employed as a casual employee, generally doing 3 overnight 12 hour shifts per week, how is the super (SG) calculated?
Since the award dictates that any hours over 10 hours in a shift are overtime, the employer has advised that they only pay super on the first 10 hours of each shift. If this is correct, it seems incredibly unfair.
Can someone please advise? With thanks in advance.
