My partner no longer has the phone number registered with MyGov, so cannot log in to do her tax return. We are overseas and racking up a big mobile bill waiting to get through. How can we contact the ATO urgently, because we are in anger of missing the deadline.

Hi @RichardP If your partner no longer has access to that phone number, she will need to create a new myGov account. Once she does this, she will need to re-establish the link with her services. There are ways to link up without having to contact us, which you can read about on our website here: https://www.ato.gov.au/General/Online-services/Create-your-myGov-account-and-link-it-to-the-ATO/ If she's unable to establish a link using these details herself, she will need to contact us for a linking code. Unfortunately, Tax Time means you may experience longer wait times to speak with an operative when you call us, so try outside of our peak times by calling us when it's early morning or later in the evening for us. You can find how to contact us here: https://www.ato.gov.au/about-ato/contact-us/ Alternatively, you may wish to use a wi-fi calling service. This means you'd use wi-fi to connect, rather than cellular data. This can avoid connection fees.
