why has the ATO tax agent portal been down over two days straight?

The portal has been down since Friday and there has been no information provided to us as to what the actual issue is and or when we should be able to start working on our clients work. I have quite a few stressed clients waiting for their work to be lodged as the ATO has been providing them with nasty penalties letters and reminders...

We have had schedule maintenance on our portal since Friday night which should be done by Monday morning. We have a status page for Online Services for Agents that you can follow to see updates. Sorry for the incovenience this has caused, if any of your clients receive penalties due to the system being down please let us know.
