Hi,

I have been trying to connect my company to the ATO online services through RAM (Relationship Authorisation Manager), after I log in via MyGovID (which has standard strength) I keep getting this message :


Strong identity strength required

Your Digital Identity doesn’t meet the identity strength required to link your business.

Yep, that's because to link yourself up on RAM, you'll need to have a Strong identity strength in myGovID. This means you'll need to verify:

  • an Australian passport and match a selfie to your passport, and
  • one of the following: an Australian birth certificate or citizenship, Australian driver’s licence, or Medicare card.

If you're not able to do this, you'll need to follow the process for a primary person.
