I transferred my superannuation into a newly created account on the ATO website (both old account with my super in it, and new account with zero balance showed) but now my balance is zero in my new nominated account. It says I have only one account (my new one) my old one is closed, but my balance is zero. Where did all my super go?!?!!
Hi @jaynet77,
When you request a transfer between your superfunds it generally takes about 3 days to finalise. During this time your old fund needs to make the transfer, the new one needs to then receive it, and then they need to update the information to have the funds appear. When you transfer all of your funds out of a superfund it usually closes the account. This would be why your old fund appears as closed. Give it a few days to allow the transfer to complete, but let us know if nothing changes after that.
