Recently my clearing house sent my contributions through as pre tax contribution but they were actually post tax. I was taxed 15% by my super fund, what happens with that tax? How do I recover the overtaxed amount?

Hi @rocstar,

If the clearing house made an error in their reporting they'd need to correct the information directly with the fund. The fund then has 30days to amend the error once they become aware of it. Thereafter, the contribution would be looked at as a non-concessional instead of a concessional contribution. You wouldn't get any tax back, as the super fund sorts it out on their end.
