ABN applications for UberEats can sometimes be rejected if you apply as a contractor, instead of choosing that your activities will take the form of a business. This is because contractors/employees aren't eligible for an ABN. If you aren't considered an employee for UberEats, then you're technically carrying on a business as a sole-trader.
