It has been over a month since I submitted a Notification of a Deceased Person estate via an Australia Post interview. I understand that as the legal personal representative (LPR) I can now obtain a data package with the deceased's details regarding previous returns and superannuation. Do I need to apply for this or does the ATO send it out automatically once I have filled in the Notification of a Deceased Person Form?

According to our website the data package will be provided to you automatically once the notification is processed. If you have not received it, there are instructions on our website about how you can request it, as well as any other information you might need.
