I need to speak to an ATO representative ASAP as I need to ask for an extension on lodging my returns for my SMSF as the auditor is behind by around 7-10days.
It is due on the 4th July and I can't get through to ask for an extension over the phone. How else can I contact them immediately other than post.

Sorry to hear your having trouble contacting us, I can only suggest you keep trying if your due date is today, it is important you speak with us. If you use a Tax Agent for the SMSF you could also ask them to call for you.
If you have received a letter about your lodgements ensure you are calling the contact number in the letter and if you're offered a call back while on hold please accept and we will call you back.
