I had 4 accounts and tried to merge them into 1 but now have 2 only and tge others have gone with the majority of the balance.
Hi @Jitterbug,
When you request for your super to be transferred between your accounts it won't go through straight away. The balances in myGov also only update when we receive new information from your funds - it isn't always accurate and up to date. Your funds transferring amounts would've reported the new lower balance to us, which would explain why they appear to be gone. You'll now have the wait for the funds to be received and processed by the other fund(s), and for them to update the information with us. If you want to obtain an accurate balance of your account before this happens, you'll need to contact the specific funds directly.

Hi jitterbug,
Welcome to ATO Community.
If you've merged your accounts using ATO Online Services, the super funds will have reported to the ATO that the accounts are closed and the balance(s) transferred to your receiving fund. The account will then disappear on ATO Online Services because it is closed.
For the account(s) that do remain, the super fund only has to report the account balance to the ATO once a year, so it won't update for some time yet to the updated balance which includes the amounts you transferred.
