If you travel between different sites in the one day/shift, then you can claim the cost of travel between sites. If your work is itinerant you can also claim.
You wouldn't be able to claim between home and your work sites if they're regular sites you would often go to. Transport would also need to arise due to the nature of your employment. It sounds like this is your situation based on what you've said.
