Hi,


When calculating the withholding tax on an additional payment for service awards (e.g. 10, 20 or 30 year-service), can I apply the method A or B in Schedule 5 to the payment?


Schedule 5 – Tax table for back payments, commissions, bonuses and similar payments

From the information you've given it does look like you can use either method to work out the correct withholding.
