Just like a large number of other posters, I'm struggling with MygovID as it is a pain in the a.... to configure, being mainly the will for this service to run by it's own, but it is actually impossible. There is a large issue according to differences in formatting between the paper or digital ID we have at hand, and the ID details that are actually available on the various government agencies database.
My issue is the issue mentioned above, and it is also the fact that my Google account was locked away from me and that MygovID cannot release the existing account on my demand, reason being that I am unable to access my hacked email address.
This means that I am unable to pay my ex wife on CSA, or to connect to ATO's online services unless I have successfully (quote from MygovID support) "experimented" with entering the 2 IDs that were not entered in my previous account. Now, once I will have been lucky enough to have successfully passed the error levels numbered 45048 (422) ‘Could not verify details’, I will be facing the dreadded 45056 (422) ‘Check your details are correct’.
I seriously have been depressed enough with the loss of all my children growing up pictures that are now vanished on Google because the AI decided that I was possibly a hacker, and now I am locked out of all my Australian government services.
This issue is adding up to all the stress I have been coping with by loosing my Google account, and now I have a steep hill to climb with frustrations caused by attempting to recover my MygovID account on a tiny little screen.
This is a complaint, please escalate this question the the highest authority in charge as this situation must settle as soon as possible. Too many people are now frustrated as they cannot follow their duties of responsible citizens.
