I'm living in the UK and submitted a form to get my super refunded. I waited 28 days and had no response. I submitted a query to find out qhats going on and it said it might take another 28 days for a reply but that never happend. I've now submitted a 3rd email and still no response and been 3 months and have no idea what's going on.


I've tried calling multiple numbers with no success and don't know where to turn.


I've not received refund or any contact and cant get in touch. What do I do?

Hi @Karlodonnell88,


What type of super payment did you apply for? If this was a DASP then you should've been issued with a reference no' at the time of lodging the application online via the DASP online system. If you called us direct, for us to follow this up we'd request the reference no' and your details and escalate the matter. IF you have access to myGov you should be able to see if the super balance is still with us.


We'd recommend you follow this up so the matter can be escalated if it hasn't been already.

Hi Jodie,


That's exactly what I'm trying to do but cant follow up.


I don't think i received a reference number and I have screen shots of each part of the process of applying.


what i did receive was an automatic email from Supermail@ato.gov.au which explains that my application was submitted.


It also mentions that if I do not hear anything after 28 days to email  @ato.gov.au" target="_blank" style="font-size: small;">DASPmail@ato.gov.au - I have now sent two emails to this email without reply and waited 28 further days.


Is there a number you recommend me calling from the UK?


Also, I cant login to mygov. Im not sure if i have an account. Where else could I get this reference number from?

Sorry to hear that you're stil waiting and it's strange that you haven't heard anything. Our number when calling from overseas would be best however, when you applied were the funds with your Super fund or with us?
