I posted a question that was answered by an ATO member but my sub question was missed and now that its marked as answered I assume it will not get picked up.

My question was
"I could not see anything in public rulings that covers this area. Are you able to point me to a relevant one and if there are none, do I require a official private tax ruling or is a official answer here okay?"
The migration answer seems straight forward to me but as it affects my tax a fair bit I would like to have some security in that an auditor wouldn't have a different opinion and leave me with a debt. Assuming a "official" marked question here is okay, could I please get it marked that way.
