Trying to apply for my Directors ID for my SMSF - can't verify my identity on MyGovID receive error message 45047 (422) - seems my ID is linked to an old work email address - I wish to change it to my personal email address - can't log in using old work email as authorization code is being sent to old work email - so going around and around in circles - how do I go about increasing my ID to standard using my personal email address - need to get this done urgently - anyone else had same issue and any success to remedy? No help contact phone numbers are being answered by ABRS or MyGov at the moment

Hi @knoxfam,


I found another post that is similar to your sitation.


In short, if you don't have access to your old email address you will need to set up a new myGovID account with 2 different identity documents than what you used initially.


If you've verified the same identity documents with multiple myGovID emails you will need to contact the myGovID helpdesk.


The good news is that you can now apply for your director ID up to the 14th of December without penalty.
