We have started a deregistration process of the company back in 1. November this year, do we still need to have a Director ID as the company has a Strike-Off Action In Progress?

By law company directors who no longer hold the role on or after 1 December 2022 are suppose to apply for a director ID. However, we've listened to community feedback and have draft rulings in place. Whilst this is in progress we do not expect directors who have recently resigned from their director roles to apply for a director ID.

While draft rulings are in progress, if you've recently resigned from your director role, you don't need to apply for a director ID.
