Long story short last November 2022, I'm a scam victim, the scammer lured me to send Massive amount of my money to a Cryptocurrency exchange and eventually to their wallet. my loss is approximately $350.000 and right now I have that much debt with my bank. (My home loan money)
My concern is will this affect my Tax return next June 2023? I'm at Big loss situation at the moment.
Please help to clarify what i'm actually facing at related to either my Tax return or any penalties?
The reason i concern about Tax is because after i realized i got scammed, i tried to stop some of the money stuck at the binance. com and managed to returned back only $20 thousand back to my bank... will ATO will detect this as like I'm purchasing Crypto?
Please help.. I'm going through sleepless night at the moment and I'm really depressed..
Please give advice and suggestion what should i do?...
