I'm guessing not since they are not likely to be treated as directly related to earning your income, but rather seen as a social aspect of work.

Although a great idea to give a colleague a lovely farewell, the contribution isn't tax-deductible.


To claim a deduction the contribution or donation will need be made to a deductible gift recipient. These are organisations that can receive donations that are tax deductible.
