ATO are not taking calls so they can not remove. Has anyone had recent evidence of success?

I'm sorry you're having difficulties in contacting us.
There're a few ways you can remove a tax agent.
- engage a new tax agent who will update your information, and
- as per previous answer you mentioned.
This is something you're unable to do via your myGov account because there're a few steps you and your new tax agent need to do. This includes signing a letter of engagement. This gives your new agent a clear indication on what they can access and the responsibilities they have for you.
