I submitted my TFN application on 13/12/2022. But still I didn't get my TFN. Now it has taken more than 28 days. And I have applied for a new job and they requested me to send the tax file number. I am feeling disarray because of this. So please check my TFN status and I am hoping your immediate response.

Sorry to hear you haven't received your TFN yet! Unfortunately we can't access TFNs on our public forum, so we can't check your application for you. We have information on our website about when you will receive your TFN and what to do if it's taking a bit longer.
In the meantime, when starting a new job, you can let your employer know that you've applied for a TFN and you're waiting for it to be processed. You can do this by indicating at question 1 of the TFN Declaration that you've applied for a TFN but haven't received it yet. This will give you 28 days where they will tax you at the normal rate.
