It looks like we may have given you some incorrect information in that previous response. Sorry about that, we’ll get that adjusted! You actually are still eligible to apply for DASP – there isn’t a 6-month timeframe you can do it in.


Generally after 6 months of leaving Australia your superfund will transfer your super to us to hold onto. It’s then classified as ATO-held super. They transfer it to us due to the account being inactive. I’d recommend having a read through the DASP page on locating your super. It has a link to the online application system, which you can use to locate your super (either with your fund or with us) and then apply to have it released. It also runs through some other ways to locate your super too if that doesn't work for you. To have it released you’ll need to make sure you meet the eligibility criteria first. The main DASP page runs through the entire process and provides a bit more information!

You may have ATO-held super. We have information about that on our website about how you can locate lost super (if you have any). There is no time-limit to apply for DASP. *updated by moderator 01/02 to reflect accurate information*

Gud pm sir Gabby.. Is there any other way or chans to process that because we re here already in the philippines that 6 months grace period of process. Can I still wrote a letter of Explanation on my case. To revive it . Please help .
