Hi Everyone.

Need some guidance, please.

I have a small company with 3 employees including myself. The company has a Motor vehicle registered under it. So the company currently pays for the registration insurance and Fuel. Everything else is not put through the company.

My question is.

Can I claim under my personal tax the car expense such as maintenance (Servicing, Parts, Carwash, Parking) under the D1- Work related car expenses: ?

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

No way - specifically prohibited by sec 51AF

Personally paid expenses just reduce the FBT value of the car.
