im only a teen and doing my first tax return and there is no info anywhere to help me do this by my self and when i try and do it it says to get a linking code but i get put on hold for ages
is someone able to help or tell me when its best to call?

If you're unable to link online by answering the questions specific to you, the only way to obtain a linking code is by phone. We have been experiencing peak demand so it might take some time to get speak to someone.
Our contact centre is open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Generally, our phone lines are less busy early in the morning, later in the day and at the end of the week.
Please have some identifying documents (driver’s license, passport, etc) ready with you as we will need to confirm your identity before providing a linking code.
