I recently became Secretary of our school P&C. I was instructed to update our ABN details and to apply to become Incorporated. After applying I was informed that we have been incorporated since 2002, but previous P&C neglected to update the ABN!!


Due to lack of record keeping I am unable to determine who the last contact was that was listed on the ABN. I cannot access through RAM since I am not listed. How am I meant to update our ABN?? I can't get through on the phone as the line is at "peak demand" every time I call.


Does anyone have any insight or suggestions to help with this?

I am sorry to hear you were unable to get through to us.


If you cannot access the details to complete the updates through RAM. You can complete the 'change of registration details form'.

Depending on the P&C, a public officer, secretary or treasurer would need to sign the forms for the update to be completed.


I understand you do not know the last authorised person. If you can include a 'copy of meeting minutes' showing the 'appointment of the associates'. This will allow us to complete the update showing the current details.


I know you have had issues getting through the phone lines to notify us of changes, you can get the form from our publication ordering service. You will just need to register an account then search for the form number NAT 2943.
