Hi,


Trying to call [removed by moderator] to get a linking code to get my daughters TFN linked to her mygov, but call is auto termiated due to high demand. What are the alternative ways to get a linking code?


Cant use the verification steps in MyGov as she only has a super account, never lodged a return yet and has no bank details to match. She is in school, so cant get to a centrelink location.


Dont want to do a paper version of a tax return when we have online option.


any ideas on how to get a code?

Hi @Kev1980,


Unfortunately, the only way to get a linking code is via phone. This is because we need to be able to verify your daughters identity on the call by speaking to her directly. Make sure she has some identifying documents available like a medicare card and birth certificate or passport.

Our phone lines are usually quietest right at opening - 8am local time. Best of luck!
