If you've lodged a return and prior year amendments at the same time, this may slow down the processing timeframe. You can still check the processing stages of returns from our forum post - Tax return status changed? - Let us explain (https://community.ato.gov.au/s/article/a079s0000009Gl2AAE/tax-return-status-changed-let-us-explain). As Bruce4Tax advised, if you lodge an amendment and it's more then 2yrs from the original NOA issue date, you'd also need to lodge an objection to the timeframe (https://www.ato.gov.au/General/dispute-or-object-to-an-ato-decision/object-to-an-ato-decision/decisions-you-can-object-to-and-time-limits/) before lodging the amendment.
