Upon arriving in Australia, I applied for a Tax File Number and it requires me to provide details of my identity. During those times, I provided my first mailing address where I used to reside. Moving forward to the current circumstance, I have since moved to a different state and when I got employed in the other state, there was this superannuation notification that was sent out by ATO to my old mailing address. Anyway to change my mailing address so that ATO is able to send all of my TAX-related documents to my current mailing address? I tried using all the online resources provided which led me to a dead end of calling the hotline which takes hours of waiting. Please advice on how to resolve this issue. Thank you so much in advance.
Hi @HX3M2,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with this! To change your address details online you'll need a myGov account linked with the ATO. If you're having any specific issues with that, let us know and we can try to help you out.
Otherwise, you could use the change of details for individuals form. Australia Post also have an option for mail redirection, so you can get mail from your old address redirected to your new address.

Hi Gabby, thanks for the response. My problem has been resolved after calling the hotline. It was a pain waiting for my turn of the queue but definitely a productive session. I've had my address updated and myGOV ID linked to ATO finally. Thank you so much.
