I can't get myGov ID app to open since yesterday- it keeps throwing up Error code NWK000003. When I could previously get into the app it wouldn't accept my correct identity documents, giving me a different error code. Then I called the help desk which hung up on me because they're too busy to take calls. I have to submit a report on behalf of my employer by Wednesday or we will be in breach of legislation. What am I supposed to do. Would love an answer!

I am sorry to have not been able to get through on the phone lines.


This error is an issue connecting to the backend of the system. It can be due to an issue with the internet connection. The work around is to check the internet connection, close the app and try again later.

I would advise to also check the app is the most recent version and there are no updates. It may also be worth turning the device off and then on again. Sometimes there could be other things on the device causing problems.


When you mentioned before getting this NWK000003 error, you had a different error. Do you remember that error you received?
