My super account was opened in Jan 2020. I can see my 'Carry-forward concessional contributions' correctly till the FY 2020-2021 but NOT for 2019-2020. But as per ATO the contributions can be made up 5 years earlier EVEN before joining the super start FY 2018-2019. It should ideally show $25000 for the FY2019-2020 and full limit should be available.

Your total super balance needs to under $ 500 K at 01/07/2022,

or there is no carry forward cap.

Check your 2020 member statement to confirm conc contribtions, if any.

@Bruce4Tax - As the super account was opened in Jan 2020 only the balance is way below $500k. If I check the 'Carry-forward concessional contributions' for Fy 2019-20, it says 'We currently have no carry-forward concessional contributions information to display' , Is this the expected message or it should show $25k as the full amount?
