Can someone pls tell me how much will the tax withheld for FHSS released income in below scenario in year 2 please ?

Year 1: Salary sacrifice :$14,500.99, total taxable income : $115,779.35

Year 2: Salary sacrifice : $13,800.00, total taxable income : $173,068.31 (Income: $148,622.47 , FHSS releases amount : $24445.84)

In both year, Super deducted 15% tax on the sacrificed amount. As per ATO, withhold tax is 0.

Hi @phoenixguy,

A notice of intent lets you claim a deduction for after-tax super contributions you've made on your tax return.

Hi @phoenixguy,

Have you lodged a notice of intent to claim a deduction? if so, this is when your superfund withholds 15% tax on your personal contribution.

Have a look at the answer on a previous post. Although it talks about post-tax contributions, there's some fantastic information about pre-tax contributions.
