I am owed a sum of money as payments continued to be taken from my pay well after I had paid a STSL loan off. I do not see this reflected on my income statement.

will this be reflected anywhere before lodging my tax return?

Thank you

Hi @Jerronimo,

Any extra tax withheld towards your end of year Student and training support loan will be included in the Total Tax withheld section on your PAYG payment summary/income statement. It is not shown separately.

Where the STSL debt has been paid in full, these amounts of extra tax will be refunded after lodging your tax return if you has no other tax liability.

Normally if the debt has been paid off, you can complete a Withholding declaration form on our website. This will inform your payer to stop withholding amounts.
