My meal allowance is paid if I do 10hrs per shift it has nothing to do with overtime the allowance is part of eba agreement so should my employer added this to my payment statement summary so I can claim deduction I am local truck driver and yes I do 90% of the time spend more than my allowance

Hello @Nrcni1974,


The first thing you can do is check with your employer to see if they have accidently left it off the payment summary. However if it is right, you can check out the employment allowances page which explains how to claim the expense you incur yourself. Basically if it's not on your payment summary you can still enter the allowance as income and then claim deductions for the amount you incurred as long as you have appropriate evidence.
