When I enter my super details into the linking part (secret questions) and press 'Enter' it says that they don't match for either the fund's ABN or membership number. Have tried removing the 0's at the start of member number and trying all the ABN's on the fund's correspondence, but still keep getting locked out. If it is relevant, the fund was Sunsuper before it merged to become a new entity.
Hi @Alphawolf26,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble linking with us! Your fund being merged might be causing the details to not match up with what we have on record for you.
I'd recommend just trying some of the other information we can use to verify you instead - hopefully you'll have more luck with that!

Unfortunately if you haven't previously printed your notice of assessment or payment statements, you can't see them in the my gov messages because it redirects to the ATO to try to view them. Case of if I could see the other information I would not have the problem. : S
@GabbyATO. Had a thought, if the original matching was done using centrelink info rather than superannuation, a lot of years ago (when we were getting childcare assistance, etc), and in light of recent events involving Centrelink data and the ATO and ROBO Debt, could the match have been corrupted / removed to prevent any future issue with automated attempts to recover funds? In short, if the second piece of matching data wasn't originally the superannuation details, is there a way of getting it to become so? Didn't have any issues with partner's tax as his My.Gov link to the ATO was still OK and he is with the same super fund, while mine has the matching issue and nothing changed for me either over the last 12 months. Thanks
