Hey @saref,

Basically you won't be able to claim for any expenses incurred for getting to work. If you were to travel interstate for work, from home, that isn't claimable. Once you're in Sydney and you're required to travel for that same job, from the office to another location, that cost would be claimable. There is no deduction you can claim for travel to get to either job or from one job, to another job (different employer).

Hey @saref,

You won't be able to claim the travel from home to the office every fortnight. This is because it is from your home to your workplace, if it was from the workplace to another location then it would be eligible to claim.

The income deduction page is great to refer to for claimable deductions etc
