Hi @MT122087,

Firstly, are you an Australian resident for tax purposes or foreign resident? If unsure, you can self-assess by using our handy work out your residency status for tax purposes tool.

Depends on your residency status. Will depend what details you will need to enter in the Medicare levy section.

If you are a foreign resident for tax purposes and not entitled to Medicare benefits, then you may be exempt from paying the Medicare levy.

You can find more information on this under Medicare levy exemption.

You will need to apply for a Medicare Entitlement Statement (MES) from Services Australia., if you're exempt before lodging your tax return.
