- Currently under the Work and Holiday Visa (462)

- Under "My Profile" > "Personal Details" > "Working Holiday Maker (WHM)," it states "No" when it should be "Yes."

I believe I have been taxed 30% instead of 15% and tried to call ATO to fix the issue, but they told me to file a tax return (did not work for year 2022-2023). They also seem like they do not know how to change this option/selection to "Yes."

Any solutions to my problem?

Hello there @mzbmde,

Your residency status is based on information we have in our systems. This updates when you lodge a tax return and share your residency status.

You've said you didn't work for 2023, but you also believe you were taxed 30%. Can you tell us what income you have been taxed on so we can offer more options to fix it?
