Hi,

I've submitted my DASP on Feb 2nd 2026. It still says "submitted", when I check the DASP application system - no updates, no messages in my MyGov inbox. So it's been almost 2.5 months now.

I've sent an online inquiry to AustralianSuper - they haven't received or heard anything about my DASP application. I'm overseas and the waiting time is huge and it's expensive.. and I'm wondering if it 'got lost' in the system and if I should just try submit the application again, or if calling is the only option?

Thank you!

Hi @skd,

The service standard for processing a DASP is 28 days from when you lodged your completed application. You've now been waiting around 2.5 months, which is beyond this timeframe.

The DASP online application system allows you to re-enter and view your application, but it doesn't provide the status or progress of your application. The 'submitted' status you're seeing means the application has been received by us. Your super fund won’t be notified or able to see anything until we finish assessing the application and issue a release authority.

Given the time that's passed and the lack of communication, you'll need to call us directly about the progress of your application. While we understand international calls can be costly, calling is the most effective way to resolve this situation. If you have friends or family in Australia that you trust, you can make them an authorised contact so they can speak with us on your behalf. This would help with international call costs.
