I have been provided full access to a business in the business portal, but if I try to access any areas apart from the home page e.g. BAS I get an error 403 - permission denied.

The facts help suggests its a firewall issue but the IT department has reviewed and can not see this issue.

We tried to call ATO who suggested it relates to myID level of security, but i have the full strong verification and this is happening to other users as well.

I have tried every browser, chrome, firefox and edge, and have cleared browsing

It is like this for several entities I have access to

I have confirmed that I have full access in RAM.


Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix?

Hi @cellery,


The next thing to try is have the principal authority or authorisation administrator remove your access completely in RAM, then re-add you with the same permissions. This forces the system to re-establish the connection between RAM and Access Manager properly. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you'll need to contact us again and request that the issue be escalated to our technical team.


Since you've mentioned this is affecting multiple entities and other users as well, the re-adding process should be tested with one entity first before applying it across all your business relationships.
