Most ABN applications are processed instantly, but some need up to 20 business days to complete. If you received a reference number when you applied, it means we need to check some details in your application or require more information.


You can check if your ABN has been processed at any time by visiting ABN Lookup on the Australian Business Register website. Your ABN will appear there once it's been successfully processed.


If it's been 5 weeks and your ABN still hasn't been issued, you can contact us on the business enquiries line to follow up on the progress of your application.
