I have applied for DASP but there has been no progress.

I lost my passport before leaving Australia and obtained a new one, but as I was unable to apply for DASP using the new passport, I applied using the details from the lost passport.

Hi @rina1201,

In the DASP system, applications are linked to the passport details used when you first applied. This means you’ll need to continue using those same details to access and view your application, even if that passport is now lost or expired.

But delays can happen where passport details don’t match current info held by the Department of Home Affairs. This may be affecting the progress of your application.

If there hasn’t been an update after 28 days, it’s a good idea to follow up with either:

  • your super fund - if they hold your super, or
  • us - if we hold your super so we can check the progress of your application.

If it's an option, you can nominate someone a registered tax agent to discuss it on your behalf.
