I'm currently unable to access my ATO account to lodge my tax return, as my Digital ID (myID) identity strength is only Basic. I attempted to upgrade it, but the driver licence is the only document the system allows me to submit, and my visa was not accepted — I suspect this is because I have already departed Australia. Could anyone please advise how I can verify my identity and access my account from overseas?
