I am trying to access Relationship Authorisation Manager to act as an agent for my employer. I am a UK citizen working in Australia. I have added my visa as one item to prove my identity but cannot add another as I do not have any other Australian identification. Is there a workaround to enable me to access RAM with a Basic ID or another way to upgrade to Standard ID? I tried to call but the lines were too busy to take my call.

Thanks, Gabby. I was able to access RAM as a Basic user. However, with a Basic MyGovID, I can't access any additional tax services (e.g., viewing a statement of account for a certain tax). Is there any workaround here as a non-Australian citizen?

With being a non-citizen you wouldn't have any Australian issued ID would you? Thats required to raise the identity strength. To access the stuff you need to, you do need at minimum the 'standard' strength which by the sounds, you aren't able to reach. To get access to the SOA and other documents you require, you would need to speak with us. I know the lines are busy, but as soon as we open is when we're less busy.
I have spoken to the ATO on this numerous times and they have told me there is NO way to increase from Basic to Standard unless you have Australian identification. What is the work around so I can mention it when I call? I am a NZ accountant in charge of an Australian Company and have no access to the ATO now
