Hello, When I started working in Oct 2019, the option for Tax Free Threshold was set to NO. This was only fixed May 2023 with my employer. Can I still claim what was deducted to me from Oct 2019 to April 2023?

Hi @IamGroot_28

Any tax withheld above your actual tax obligation assess by us when you lodge your returns is refunded in the year it was withheld in.

October 2019 – 30 June 2020

1 July 2020 – 30 June 2021

1 July 2021 – 30 June 2022

1 July 2022 – 30 June 2023

If you have already lodged the effected income tax returns the over withheld amounts will already have been taking into account.
